Jott is built with your privacy as a priority. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it is handled.
1Data we collect
Notes and content
Your notes are stored locally on your device and synced via Apple iCloud if you have iCloud enabled. We never access, read, or store your notes on our servers.
Purchase information
If you purchase Jott Pro, the transaction is handled by Apple and RevenueCat. We receive only a non-identifiable confirmation that a purchase was made. We do not receive your payment details, card information, or Apple ID.
Analytics and crash reporting
Jott may collect anonymous crash reports and usage data to help us fix bugs and improve the app. This data contains no personally identifiable information.
2Data we do not collect
We do not collect:
- Your name, email address, or any account information
- The content of your notes
- Your location
- Any data that identifies you personally
3iCloud sync
If you use iCloud sync, your notes are stored in your personal iCloud account under your Apple ID. This data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We have no access to your iCloud data.
4Third-party services
5Data retention
We do not store your personal data on our servers. Your notes exist only on your device and in your iCloud account. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.
6Children
Jott is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
7Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated date at the top. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
